Welcome to the Ukrainian School of Knowledge academic calendar. Our school year is designed to provide a comprehensive education in Ukrainian language, literature, and culture while accommodating the schedules of our students and families.
School Year Overview:
Classes are held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, beginning on the second Saturday of September and ending on the last Saturday of May.
Key Dates:
- First Day of School (First Bell): September 13, 2025: Start your journey with us as we kick off another exciting year of learning and cultural exploration.
- School Christmas Celebration: December 20, 2025: Join us for a festive celebration of Ukrainian Christmas traditions.
- Winter Break: December 27, 2025 and January 03, 2026: Enjoy time with family and friends during our two-week winter break.
- Spring Break: March 28, 2026: A week to rest and recharge before the final push of the school year.
- Last Day of School (Last Bell Celebration): May 30, 2026: Celebrate the achievements of the year and bid farewell until next fall.
Daily Schedule:
- 9:00 AM – Classes begin
- 10:30 AM – 20-minute lunch break
- 1:00 PM – Classes end
Important Notes:
- Students should arrive by 8:45 AM to prepare for the day.
- Each family is responsible for providing lunch for their child(ren). We encourage healthy food choices.
- If your child cannot attend class for any reason, please inform the teacher, vice principal, or director.
- You will be notified of any changes to this schedule via email, on our website, or through our school’s Viber page.
